It is our practice policy to give patients full information about the cost of their dental care before any treatment is undertaken. You will be given an estimate of the cost of your treatment which you need to sign before any work is carried out.
In 2006 The NHS introduced a new 3 tier banding system for patients charges, these charges are displayed in reception and change each year in April. Your dentist will inform you which band you come under and the total charge for your treatment.
Please remember that treatment can change as it goes on and the final bill may be different, we will certainly let you know of any changes as treatment progresses. If you are exempt from dental charges, we are required to ask for evidence of proof.
We do not operate a credit system. All payments are due at the start of each treatment band. There are no exceptions. Payment by cash, cheque supported by a banker’s card, switch, master card and visa are accepted.
